Words of praise and a lot of emotions yesterday after the Game 4 victory over Civitanova that propelled Perugia into the league final and qualified the club into next season’s Champions League.
Aleksandar Atanasijevic: “I am never played in such an incredible atmosphere like yesterday with the fans singing all game long. In such conditions, you just can’t lose. I am thrilled to be in the final, Perugia deserves it”.
Emanuele Birarelli: “The greatest thing of all is to qualify for the final in front of our fans. This is why somebody like me decided to come here and play for a city like Perugia, to be able to play games like this, these are the ones you remember for ever. Yesterday was unbelievable, when you have such an atmosphere it starts to become complicated for the opponents”.
