Trailing by two sets to nil against Alessano, the hosts turned things around with three substitutions made by coach Adriano Di Pinto. Colarusso, Cristofaletti and Lazzaretto (top scorer 20 points) helped the team ignite a spectacular come-back. The visitors who looked so much in charge and with no mercy in the first two sets looked desoriented afterwards. « I did not expect to enter in my old position (outside hitter) because I was training full time spiker – explained Cristofaletti – I just thought positive and played without fear ».
