Grottazzolina had a lot of physical worries to deal with ahead of the home game against Spoleto but it was not going to give up easily. More bad luck piled on the home side with Nocolò Brandi and Daniele Tomasetti both out ill. This added up to the injuries of Riccardo Vecchi and Federico Moretti. The host gave it a good fight but Spoleto eventually ran away with the victory.
