Latina’s run of friendly games began with a tie-break defeat by the minimum margin against Vibo Valentia. The first set was tight all the way, Latina made too many mistakes but made up for it thanks to some excellent blocking (7 points). Latina built a 16-13 lead in the second before losing it, while with the same 16-13 lead in the third, Sottile and co managed to hang on to it. The fourth was another tight set. Latina had the edge until 16-14, then Vibo took control. In the tie-break, Vibo took the early initiative 5-3, Latina reacted and took a 12-10 lead but Costa hit some strong serves in the end to give the victory to Vibo.
