The regular season has reached its final act and for Tuscania there will be the third place at stake in the derby against Civita Castellana. Some experts had totally written off Tuscania at the start of the season but is currently fourth and has been a real success story. It is one of the lowest budget in the Serie A2 but has and will have the record of 3-0 victories this season (10, Sora is second with 8). There was also the challenge to play far away to overcome, some said the fans would get tired to travelling to Montefiascone but they had to change their minds as the gym was always filled.
“The Tuscia derby! Just the name makes me shiver – said captain Ottaviani – A few years ago, predicting there would have been a derby in the Seria A2 from the Viterbo area would have been pure foolish, but now not only are there two teams in it but they will play for third place”.
