Sora secured the services of Matteo “The Wall” Sperandio for a third consecutive season. The young player has a big potential but at the same time he is already an important part of the team. The 24-year-old middle blocker from Treviso was the top blocker of the season with 83 blocks in 98 sets played and third in scoring for his position with 243 points. Very humble, always ready to play, he’s an exemple of professionalism.
“Personally, I have always believed in Sora, ever since I signed my first contract two years ago to try to win the Serie A2 – he said – We had a brilliant first year, but we missed out on promotion. But this year we did exceptionally well and there was the ice on the cake too in the end. Our dream has always been to play in the SuperLega, I think me staying here with the club that gave me my chance is just a natural and direct consequence of what this wonderful group has achieved”.
