Santa Croce prevailed at the tie-break in the friendly played with Siena at the PalaParenti arena. It’s been a thrilling Tuscan derby as both teams pushed themselves to the limit. It’s been tight with flashes of brilliant volleyball. In the fifth set the Wolves seemed to have the game under control until Siena came back within one (13-12) but Tamburo took care of business with two points to seal it. Tamburo and the two Brazilians looked brilliant but the whole team played well.
