On Sunday, Civita Castellana will make its full debut in the Serie A2 playoffs quarter-finals against Reggio Emilia, to be played on the best of three games. “The playoffs are finally here. It’s been a thrilling and extremely tight season – said coach Alessandro Spanakis – We have worked hard all season and now is the time to gather all the energy we have left. Reggio is a strong opposition, like all the teams left in the tournament. We had a great battle against them just a few weeks ago, we had managed to snatched it in the fifth set. We’ve seen how many weapons they have to make it hard for us. But this is an opportunity we earned with hard work and we want to try everything possible until the opponent proves it is stronger than us”.
