The Italian national team landed this morning in Rome following their superb run that led to the Silver medal. The TV share went as high as 44% during the final in Italy, which goes to show how they love their volleyball in this country.

There was a unique atmosphere, being together with all the top athletes in the globe. The sensations are difficult to put into words. I feel disappointed about the final, we went very close. As for Latina, I agree with what Fei declared, we will fight game after game to make it hard for every opponent we’ll face, without setting ourselves any targets or limits ».
