Siena is delighted to announce the arrival of Stefano Patriarca. Born in 1987 in Agnone, the middle blocker came up in Macerata’s youth ranks from 2003 to 2007, helping the team win the Junior League in his last season before making his pro debut in the top division. In the A2, he gained experience with Santa Croce and Crema. In 2010-11, he signed for Castellana Grotte in the SuperLega, though the club could not avoid relegation. He moved to Verona and received his first cap with the Italian national team in 2011, making his full debut in the World League. He then helped Latina reach the CEV Cup final, though his biggest joy has to be the following season when he came back to Macerata and won the league title. He spent his last two seasons at Milano and Piacenza in the SuperLega. In 11 season, he scored no less than 1194 points (244 blocks).
