“I thought it was right to make a gesture for the fans of Chiusi and Siena, as well as to the city of Siena. So we brought them this gift with the Spanish champion – said president Giammarco Bisogno as the club signed the Spanish international Sergio Noda Blanco – I hope the fans and city will keep supporting the club and this project just like they support the players, who I am proud to have in our club because they’re all behaving like true professionals”.
Born in Cuba in 1987, the Spaniard played in the past in Almerìa, where he won la Copa Del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. He’s been part of the Spanish national team since 2008 and he won three silver medals and one bronze medal at the European League (from 2008 to 2011). He also played in Italy with Santa Croce (2010-11) where he won the Italian Cup A2 in 2011, then he went to Città di Castello where he earned promotion in the A1. Latina and Molfetta were his next stops.
