Another good friendly game for Cantù, who overcame the challenge of the Chinese side of Sichuan. All four sets were tight like the opening one when the hosts surrendered at the death. A couple of mistakes too many on the serve. From the second set on, however, Cantù looked more in control.

We struggled to deal with their first-time spikes at the beginning of the game because of some positive reception but then we managed to make life harder for them with some better serves ».
