Gifted with great atletic attributes and superb technique, the Ukrainian Dmithriy Shavrak will remain one of Tuscania’s main weapons as well as one of the fans’ favourites. ‘Dima’ as he’s called, scored no less than 490 points last season at 49,7%, he collected 31 aces, and 29 blocks. In 2015-16, he proved to be one of the best spikers of the Serie A2.
“I am thrilled to keep playing for Tuscania – he said – I could have gone different ways but in the end I decided to stay here. Tuscania is my second home. We had an excellent season, and I am personally satisfied with the way I played. There will be a new coach, I’ve already met him, he’s a good and demanding coach and I am happy to work for him, ready to sacrifice to get better and help the team win”.
