Sora is ready to go as the semi-finals will begin this Wednesday with game one at home against Tuscania. The latter got rid of Siena in the quarter-finals, while Sora swept Potenza Picena. Sora and Tuscania also met in the semi-finals of the Italian Cup A2 this season. Sora had found its way to the final with a 3-2 victory.
“We’re in the playoffs this year again – said GM Adi Lami – We’ll try to reach an important goal that we’ve been chasing for years. But we first have to beat Tuscania. We had a great result in the quarter-finals and now we’re up against another very solid team. They were lucky not to have any injuries this season, which means they had all the time to find a perfect balance and flow in attack. Their goal is to go as far as possible, it’s an opportunity for the players and club to make a name for themselves. They had an excellent season, they finished third in regular season, went to the cup semi-finals and here they are again in the last four of the post season”.
