A lot has been said about a possible move from the club out of Sora, to Frosinone, but on Monday the alarm bell was turned off, which provoked a big sigh of relief from the Sora faithful. Now the managers and coaching staff can focus back on the transfer market.

“I think the club is doing its best to put together the best team possible with the resources we have – said middle blocker Matteo Sperandio – We’ll have a very good coach with a lot of experience which will help us a lot to face this new challenge. Personally, as a young player but luckily with quite a lot of experience under my belt, I think the main difficulty will have to do with who I have in front of me: new players I don’t know but who I’ll have to stop, trying new things. Obviously this will only help me to further mature as a player, and that will be something true for most of the players this season”.

“The SuperLega is a different league that the A2 – agreed spiker Mattia Rosso – There are not as many team but it’s tougher. The level is higher but once you take out the teams fighting for the title, I think we can have our say against the others. The physical side will change in this league: the players are stronger, taller, they hit it harder and the speed of the game is faster too. My advice for my teammates who might be on their debut in this division would be not to get demoralized if we were to lose a couple early. The secret is to understand what’s required, get used to the new standard and adjust”.
