In order to make up for Burgsthaler’s injury, Milan has brought in Bulgarian international Krasimir Georgiev. The middle blocker landed this morning and will immediately be available for coach Luca Monti. He will wear shirt number 15. Born in Krumovgradil (Bulgaria) on February 13, 1995, he began the season in Greece with PAOK Thessaloniki. In spite of his young age, he has already taken part in the World League 2015 with the Bulgarian national team.

“I was playing in the Greek League with PAOK when that fantastic opportunity came up – Georgiev said – I did not hesitate one second. I was lucky to be able to find an agreement with PAOK. For a young player like me, it is very important to be able to play in one of the most important leagues in the world, that’s why I immediately accepted”.
