Mengozzi: “Proud to wear this shirt”

After many years at Ravenna, Stefano Mengozzi moved to Verona where he will face a new challenge. The 205cm tall middle blocker was unveiled this morning in a press conference: “I am very happy to be in Verona – said Mengozzi – I am proud to wear this shirt and represent this city. As soon as I arrived here I realized how important is volleyball. I’m not going to lie, this is an important change for me after eight seasons in Ravenna. I am extremely motivated and excited, I can’t wait to get started. Verona proved it wanted to compete for ambitious prizes. I will try to show I am worthy of the club on court, during the training sessions and the games”.
