On Sunday 10 April, Padova will take on Piacenza in the Challenge Playoffs quarter-finals. The opening game of a series to be played on the best of three will be in Padova.
“We got back to our usual training rhythm after a couple of days rest because we want to prepare the coming game as well as we can – said middle blocker Marco Volpato – At this point of the season, it won’t be easy for anyone to be physically at their best but we will do everything to win it. Piacenza cannot be underestimated. They finished last of the regular season but they proved they were on the up. They found their balance and their game. I think it will be an entertaining game”.
