League and Challenge cup playoffs: details

While there will be the usual league playoffs between the top 8 teams at the end of the regular season (Best of five games), there will also be the novelty of the playoffs to qualify for the Challenge Cup. The four teams that did not make it for the league playoffs (9th till 12th) will play each other. According to the results and standing, they will then meet the four teams that will be knocked out of the league playoffs in the quarter-finals (all in the best of three games). Semi-finals and finals will follow. The winner will qualify for the Challenge Cup.
