There are only two games to go in this regular season and this weekend Civita Castellana will play its last home game before the playoffs. It will be against Cantù, which stands in sixth place, six points behind. Then there will be the big derby against Tuscania.
Coach Spanakis invited his players not to lower their guards: “This will be another extremely difficult game. From now on, we’ll only face top quality oppositions, considering that Tuscania will be our last regular season game before the playoffs. Cantù is a very tough team to play, their players know each other very well, and they have two great prospects in the wings and an outside hitter who had a pretty good season here in Italy. They play very fast and their setter is extremely agile. They have two extremely powerful spikers and two physically strong and experienced middle blockers. We’ll have to limit the impact of all their qualities to have our chance to win it”.
