Cameroun outside hitter Arthur Kody is back from his spell spent with his national team. In his last league game on December 22, Kody had exploded for 22 points leading the team to a superb victory over Sora. And that win started it all, coming back from the bottom of the league standings to the playoffs zone in 8th place. Kody had gone to try to help his national team to make it for the first time in history in the Olympic Games.

“We lost in the semi-finals against Egypt – he tells us – We lost any chance of playing the last tournament in Canada because we lost the game for third place against Algeria at the tie-break 15-13. Still, we can be satisfied, we played without four important players. I feel a bit of anger but I am motivated to do well with Reggio. I followed the team while I was away. And when I came back I found a better mentality, a positive attitude, and so much will to win. I didn’t expect to be back with my team in the playoffs zone”.
