Potenza is looking to get its pass for the playoffs when it plays host to Sora in its last home game of the regular season. Potenza has a five-point advantage on Ortona (9th) with two games left, which means Potenza either needs to take 2 points or hope for Ortona not to take 6.
“We’ve known since day one that Sora was a very strong team – said coach Gianluca Graziosi – But we have to focus on our own performances. We managed to take 6 points in our last two games and we have what it takes to give them a game at home. Regardless of the playoffs and Ortona’s possible result, our boys will give their best on court. We really want to get a result against a team above us in the table. Obviously it would be nice to celebrate our qualification for the playoffs at home. We have to be happy with the 37 points taken so far. Not even the injuries managed to get us out of the game and the boys really believe they can reach our goal”.
