Spoleto showed a lot of improvement in its last pre-season tests against the Serbian side of Partizan Belgrade and Civita Castellana. Coach Provvedi gave court time to every one and they thanked him for the faith with some convincing performances. Romolo Mariano was back in action too.
« It ‘s been a very entertaining game and well played from both teams – said coach Provvedi at the end of the game in Civita Castellana – We lost two sets because of some inaccuracies in building the play on high balls but I am satisfied with the players’ performance ». Spoleto’s last friendly games before the league debut will be in Mondovì on Saturday in a three-way tournament with Santa Croce.
