Civita Castellana finally played its first two friendly games of the pre-season, against Spoleto (1-3) and Tuscania (1-3). There were some positive signs for Spanakis’ men but they will definitely need more minutes under their belt to make significant progress.
« I enjoyed seeing the determination the boys had from the get-go – said coach Spanakis – Even if this made us lose a bit of composure at times. We have faced teams that are ahead of us in their team play, maybe because they have played more games or because they have not changed their roster as much as we have ».
