A few new faces will come in Cantù 2016-17 but there will be some well-known ones too. To start with, captain Umberto ‘Ubi’ Gerosa will remain the setter of the team. “He’s one of our main guys, I’m glad he decided to keep playing with us” said president Molteni, who also communicated that Dario Monguzzi had his contract extended too: “He’s been with us for a long time, he’s been wearing our shirt for over ten years, I am really happy we could keep him with us”. Three other players committed their future to the club: libero Luca Butti, who will also be in charge of one of the youth teams, spikers Matteo Riba and Roberto Cominetti. “They will both become even more important for us”.
