Ortona is already making its first move for the coming season. The club announced the signing of Janis Peda. Born in 1985, 198cm tall, the spiker from Riga has already played in Italy in 2012-13 with Loreto (A2). In that same division, he also played for Schio and Castellana Grotte. He also had two years in the elite with Cuneo before going back to Loreto. Abroad, he won three consecutive league title with Tirol in Austria.
