Vibo Valentia got back on the Brazilian market to find its last middle blocker. After the young spiker Kadu, in comes Deivid Junior Costa. Born in 1988, he played last season at Funvic Taubaté, club of former Vibo setter Raphael. In 2007, Costa was the MVP and best blocker of the World Championships Juniors. He registered 48 blocks in the last Brazilian Superliga, and he went very close from the league final for the second time in a row.
