In Piacenza’s PalaBanca arena, Latina registered a comfortable victory against the hosts, who failed to win since December 20. Thanks to this win, Placì’s men move above Monza in the table and stays in the playoffs zone. Piacenza is still bottom of the table. Zlatanov and co made a lot of mistakes and, led by Maruotti and Sket (13 and 15 points respectively), Latina took full advantage. MVP: Maruotti

Camillo Placì (coach Ninfa Latina): “I have only had a short roster since the beginning of the season, and some of the players had their physical problems. Tonight we showed character, we needed a great performance and everybody played at a high level. We cruised in the first set but the other two sets were a different story. I’m sorry to see Piacenza in such trouble, I know for well how difficult it is to recover from such a negative situation”
