Trentino is among the teams that will take part in the CEV Cup draw on Thursday at 10am in Varna, Bulgaria. There won’t be any group like in the Champions League but only home and away knock-out ties. Thanks to Italy’s excellent ranking, Trentino should be among the seeded teams.

This will be Trento’s 11th participation in a European competition in history, the third in the CEV Cup. The first participation was in 2004-05 (8th of finals, beaten by Ankara), while it was only defeated in the final of 2015 by Dinamo Moscow at the golden set. Overall, Trentino played 94 games in CEV competitions with 77 wins and 17 defeats.
