The friendly game played at the Palapoli arena yesterday ended on a 3-1 score for Castellana. On the positive signs, Molfetta was better at the net and in reception. Del Vecchio registred a superb 80% in reception, 19 points (59% in attack), 3 blocks. There were unfortunately 21 mistakes on the serve and the 15 blocks were not enough to make up for it.
At the end of the game Del Vecchio said : « It could have gone better tonight, even if we had a couple of players missing. We have to improve on our fondamentals to be ready for the first round. If we work hard we will be able to do the things we failed to achieve tonight. We also have to find ourselves better on court ».
