Padova’s head coach, Valerio Baldovin, had his contract extended for another two years. In three years, Baldovin managed to win the Serie A2 Italian Cup, earn promotion in the Superlega and bring the team back in the playoffs eleven years on. “I really believe in this club” he said as he will guide the team through the 2017-18 season.
