Captain Andrea Lanci signed for another year at Ortona! Born in 1980, the came up in his home town and kept fighting for the club of his city. He made his debut in the first team in 1993-94. Known for being a clever setter who plays with heart, the played an awful lot of games in the Serie C, Serie B before finally making it in the Serie A in 2012-13. Overall, he collected nearly 700 appearances.
“I will probably have different responsibilities, but I will give everything I have for the team – said Lanci – In spite of the physical problems that have troubled last season, I still want to be an important player for my teammates and wear for one more year the shirt of my home town”.
