The Block devils keep training hard for quarter-final game 3 to be played in Verona. In the first two games, Kovac’s men appeared to get better and better, especially on the serve and in reception. The ace/mistakes rate has greatly improved in those two games compared to the regular season, while the reception went from 40% to 57% from game 1 to game 2. Consequently, those two area allowed the team to express a better overall game, be that in attack (an incredible 82% in the first set of Game 2), in the block-dig area and counter. But De Cecco and co know for well that all those figures do not matter in the playoffs. They will start from 0-0 in game 3 ready for another battle.
