The club of President Venneri decided to hand the keys of the team to promising setter Lucas Lemanski Salim. Born in 1994, 183cm tall, the Brazilian played last season at Sao Jose Volei. Volleyball is part of the family, his brother plays at the same position while he has an oncle who is coach. Salim won it all at youth level and had a two-year spell on one of the biggest Brazilian clubs, the Sada Cruzeiro. Several Italian clubs were interested but he decided to come to Alessano. “I am thrilled to come to Alessano, I will do my very best to help the team win and make the fans happy”.
