Winning debut in the Champions Legaue for Civitanova. Juantorena and Sabbi shined in the home win over the Belgium side of Roeselare. Still, without Miljkovic, Kovar and Cebulj, Blengini’s men fought hard for every point and the exciting crowd responded with a lot of noise.
“Roeselare plays very good volleyball – said coach Blengini – They were effective in reception, they played on their strengths and they never gave up. Our mentality is built more during the games than in training, when we have to face tough situations. We have to get better in those situations, though we did very well to bounce back in the fourth set after a tight third set lost”.
