In its one and only friendly game with the full squad ahead of Saturday’s Super Cup in Modena, Trentino was defeated by Verona at the tie-break.

“We don’t have much time to analyse this encounter – said coach Stoytchev – On Friday morning, we’ll already be on the road to Modena. Unfortunately, the result was negative, we haven’t been able to line up all the players we wanted but we’ll definitely not look for excuses. The decision not to line up Urnaut and Lanza was not to rest them for Staurday but because they were simply not in condition to play. Still, we have to find a way to win those games even when we are not at our best physically”.
