In the national finals Under 19 in Abano Terme, Ortona went as far as the 8th of finals after having previously played brilliantly in the group stage. Ortona finished second of its group behind Treviso and were drawn against Monza. They fought back from 2-0 down to force a tie-break but eventually had to surrender.
