Rosso and co will be training with the Verona squad tomorrow afternoon and play a friendly in order to prepare Sunday’s road game against Piacenza. There will be former Padova star, Marco Meoni, who had dressed up as Santa Claus before the first meeting between the two clubs. Padova had won it 3-2.
“There won’t be any beard and gifts this time – said Meoni with a smile – Because on Sunday we’re facing a very tough game which Piacenza has to win at all cost if it wants to keeps its hopes of playoffs alive. And even then, our result will not be enough, we’ll have to see what happens on the other courts”.
