Verona had the better of Berlin in a mid-week friendly played in Italy. Over 200 fans came to see this top level test for Giani’s men against a team that is currently second of its national league and will take part in the coming Champions League final four.
“That was a good game against a well-organised team that will be in the Champions League final four – said coach Giani – Everybody played today, especially White and Gitto who had the chance to play various schemes. I am happy for all the lads, we won against a very good team, which means the hard work we’re putting in is paying off”.
