The second week of pre-season training, which will lead to the opening game of the season on October 25 in Milan, began this morning. Since coach Giuliani is currently working with the Slovakian national team, the group is in the hands of assistant coach Marco Camperi and athletic trainer Leondino Giombini. While Kohut, Ter Horst and Perrin are missing due to International commitment, former Piacenza player Leo Marshall gives a hand in training. The Cuban star was in Piacenza from 2003 to 2007 and from 2008 to 2010. During that time, he won the Top Team Cup, one league title and a Super Cup. He will train with the group until his departure for China, where he will play for Beijing Volleyball.
