Sora signed new outside hitter Sjoerd Hoogendoorn. Born in February 1991, the lefty Netherlander is 2 meter tall and weighs 88 kilos. Hoogendoorn has excellent fundamentals, a very good serve, he’s composed at the net and he loves fast balls. The fans will have to wait a little more before seeing him in action as he is currently playing with his national team. In the past two years, he played for VaLePa Sastamala in the Finnish League. Coach Soli had had the chance to see him play as opponent when he was on the Fenerbahce bench. Before his spell in Finland, he won the league-cup-Super Cup treble in 2010 with Apeldoorn and the national cup again in 2011.
