Sora’s last moves before the deadline were to re-sign middle blocker Matteo Sperandio and add another middle blocker in the name of Emiliano Giglioli. Sperandio finished second among all middle blockers last season as he scored 222 points in 100 sets played (20 aces, 81 blocks, 61% in attack). As for Giglioli, he will play his sixth year in the Serie A2 following spells in Segrate, Molfetta, Milano and Reggio Emilia. The youngsters Corsetti, Lucarelli, Marrazzo and Mauti complete the roster.
