Renato Russomanno helped Brazil win the gold medal in the sixth edition of the military world championships by beating Egypt 3-1 in the final encounter. The event takes place once every four years, this latest edition was in Mungyeong, Korea.
“I am very happy because the military world championships is something big, there can be up to 9000 athletes in all the sports – said Russomanno – The organization was perfect, the facilities, food, security. This is my second participation in this event and the competition has become bigger”. Four years ago it was in Rio in 2011, and Russomano had won the gold as well.
