The Italian champions finished the regular season in third place following last Sunday’s defeat against Modena, and now they are working hard to be ready for the quarter-finals game 1 at home against Latina on Sunday. The series will be played on the best of three games and the one to go through will be up against Modena or Ravenna.
“It’s been a tough game in Modena – said the Brazilian setter Ricardinho – But now we have to forget about it and work hard for the most exciting moment of the season. We have to focus on ourselves and be positive in this first match: we can’t afford to get it wrong, this is a crucial game, basically our first final. I will try to give my best, I’ll play with fighting spirit and will to win, I am used to playoff encounter so I won’t be tense, and I am extremely motivated”.
