It’s been a very positive weekend in which coach Barisciani gathered a lot of valuable information. Mondovì played against two teams, Reggio and Cantù, which will also take part in the Serie A2 league this season. The match in Reggio Emilia ended on a 2-2 draw (25-22 / 15-25 / 22-25 / 25-19) as Mondovì started the game with fighting spirit and played face to face even in the important moments of the game. Hardly 24 hours later, the team was back in action against Cantù. Mondovì had a 2-1 lead and was doing well in the fourth when a run of serves from Krolis turned things around (25-27). The two teams decided to play the tie-break to 25 and Cantù had the better 25-21.

“Now we know that even if we come from the lower division, we’ll be able to have our say in the matter – said coach Barisciani – We just have to learn to handle a bit better the psychological aspect. We need to be more humble and patient. The fact we’re in the Serie A doesn’t mean we have to hit a winner right away every time”.
