It’s been a successful summer for Ravenna’s new middle blocker Alberto Polo. He came home with a bronze medal with Italy’s Under 23 as well as a fifth place with the Under 21 team. Polo has always been a starter in the World Championships Under 21 in Mexico and he’s done an excellent job in every area of the game. His game high came against Slovenia with 17 points. “I am really happy, playing in two World Championships in one summer doesn’t happen every day” said Alberto.
