“Playing in the Italian league has always been my dream – said the Northern American Brian Cook, who also has his sister, Karissa, playing volleyball – I can’t wait to get to know the people there. I’ve only been in Italy once as a tourist, I saw Florence, Lucca, Pisa and the Cinque Terre. All marvelous places. This will be a great opportunity to know better your country. Playing in Greece last season has definitely helped me to learn to live far away from home, and to be a professional athlete”.
