The Sieco Service Cup had begun with a great game between Perugia and Castellana Grotte, and it followed with Ortona responding brilliantly to the challenge of meeting a SuperLega team like Molfetta. The Southerners eventually clinched it, but the hosts of the tournament can be proud it pushed it to the tie-break by showing great character in a game that was simply terrific. Ortona will take on Castellana in the game for third place on Sunday.
