Monza will make its second outing of this pre-season on Saturday in Chiavenna against the Dragons of Lugano, team coming from the top Swiss division which will take part in the Champions League for the third year running. After the first friendly against Cantù, the Monza players have had another week to work on their schemes. However, they will still be without four international players: Renan, Jovovic, Rousseaux and Verhees.
“From next week we will reduce the number of sessions in the weight room from 3 to 2 which will enable us to focus more on our schemes – explained assistant coach Francesco Cattaneo – What we expect from the boys in this friendly is to see some improvement in the block-dig area. Besides, we are curious to see the response on the advice we gave regarding the organization in reception”.
