Molfetta ready for the rhythm of samba. The club of president Antonio Antonaci made official its first signing of the summer, and that’s a big one. They brought in Brazilian international Rafael Barrios Ferreira. Born in 1993, the spiker played last season in the prestigious Mina Tenis Clube of the Brazilian Superliga. Extremely quick, superb in attack as well as in reception. Describing the young spiker as promising is not enough. Last season, he often turned into the hero as he helped his team reach fourth place in the regular season and the playoffs semi-finals.

I could see the great atmosphere there is at the arena. I was really impressed and that only confirmed I had made a good decision in signing for Molfetta”.
